As planned, the Sestriere Organising Committee of the Alpine Skiing World Cup stage has already been working for some time to take care of every aspect of the event scheduled for 22 and 23 February 2025.
After having taken care of cutting the grass on the steep Kandahar Giovanni Alberto Agnelli slope, the basic structures dedicated to hospitality in the area facing the arrival parterre are now being pre-fitted. Specifically: a grandstand with more than 750 seats, the indoor hospitality area and other service facilities, as well as the various stations dedicated to television production, which will guarantee wide international coverage of the event.
The appointment is for 22 and 23 February in Sestriere, on the slopes of the Vialattea, with the registered athletes of the Audi Fis Ski World Cup competing in the giant slalom on Saturday and in the special slalom on Sunday.
It will be a weekend of big celebrations in Sestriere with lots of music and entertainment on the slopes and also in Piazza Fraiteve, which on Saturday evening will host the awards ceremony for the giant slalom and the presentation of the athletes competing in the special slalom on Sunday. All accompanied by the laser show and the live performance of Andrea Casta with his magical electric violin.
