Work continues, weather permitting, in all areas of the Vialattea ski area to open, in progress, all slopes that are in suitable skiable conditions.
Skiing is currently taking place in Sestriere, in the Alpette and Borgata areas, in Sauze d’Oulx in the Sportinia and Rocce Nere areas and in Claviere in the La Coche and Serra Granet areas up to Bercia.
The opening forecast for the next few days is as follows.
Starting Saturday, December 23, the areas of Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx and Sansicario will be connected through the Vallone del Rio Nero. In addition to the lifts currently open, the Colò, Chamonier and Lago Nero chairlifts will be added in the Sauze d’Oulx area. In Sansicario, skiing will take place in the Ski Lodge, Roccia Rotonda and Fraiteve areas. In the Claviere ski area, slopes in the Colletto Verde and Col Boeuf sectors will be added to the lifts currently open, and a link to Montgenèvre will open.
Starting Monday, December 25, the Cesana Ski Lodge gondola and the Clotes and Jouvenceaux Sportinia chairlifts will also open.
