NEW PANORAMIC TERRACE WITH PICNIC AREA AT THE MIDDLE STATION OF THE SESTRIERE-FRAITEVE CABLE CAR

With the summer opening of the Sestriere-Fraiteve Cable Car, which will operate every day from August 3 to 25 and then again on the weekend of August 31 to September 1 with continuous hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., travelers will have the opportunity to stop at the mid-station at an altitude of 2,300 meters. Here Vialattea has created, in collaboration with the Sestriere Municipality, a panoramic terrace equipped with picnic tables and benches to allow visitors to relax while admiring the view of Sestriere. The area is usable by Vialattea customers who will be able to board again and continue the ascent up to 2700 meters of Mount Fraiteve. The same goes for those who would like to take a break on the descent and then continue their journey back to the 2000-meter departure station in Sestriere.
