The Vialattea offer is getting richer and richer, in every season the alpine area gives unique emotions and experiences!
After last summer’s success, the Vialattea ski lift opening project was reconfirmed, created in collaboration with the municipalities of Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx, the relevant Tourism Consortiums and Turismo Torino e Provincia with the aim of enriching the tourist offer and meeting, more and more, the needs of mountain lovers in the summer version.
In fact, in Vialattea, there are endless possibilities that the area has to offer, from guided hikes to high-altitude trekking, from mountain bike rides immersed in unique landscapes to golf courses and countless outdoor activities of all kinds.
The project of Sestrieres S.p.A. for summer 2024 includes the opening of 3 ski lifts, 1 in Sestriere and 2 in Sauze d’Oulx to facilitate high-altitude excursions and allow hikers and bikers to easily reach itineraries immersed in green nature that offer enchanting scenery.
The high-altitude routes are prepared by the relevant municipalities and are able to satisfy both downhill enthusiasts, who can tackle adrenaline-fueled descents, and bikers who prefer to ride along tourist routes that have various levels of difficulty.
The Vialattea lifts are Bike Friendly and equipped with bike extension kits. “Bike Corners” will also be set up near the departure of the lifts themselves to provide all enthusiasts with basic services for their MTBs.
Below are the facilities of Sestrieres S.p.A. that will be open for summer 2024 and during which periods:
- Sestriere Fraiteve gondola – July 13-14, July 20-21, July 27-28, August 3-25 and August 31-September 1
- Sportinia chairlift – July 13-14, July 20-21, July 27-Aug. 25
- Rocce Nere chairlift – August 3 to 25.

GRAND GALAXIE SUMMER – Vialattea 6-Day Summer Ticket holders are entitled to 1 day pass to use at the Grand Galaxy stations of: Alpe d’Huez, Deux Alpes*, Montgenèvre and Puy Saint Vincent.
Vialattea Summer Pass holders will receive 2 day tickets to use at each Gran Galassia resort (Alpe d’Huez, Deux Alpes*, Montgenèvre, Puy Saint Vincent and Serre Chevalier).
* Ticket not valid for summer skiing.
The above promotions are valid only during the reciprocal opening period of the lifts.
Reductions are available for groups and disabled individuals. In addition, Vialattea 2023/2024 Seasonal Skipass holders will be able to directly access the lifts operated by Sestrieres SpA using their skipass, which will be valid throughout the summer period.
