The National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Team, a unit that carries out more than 10,000 interventions every year from the north to the south of Italy, celebrates today, Dec. 12, 70 years of commitment and dedication to the service of the community, working to ensure safety on the mountains and in impervious environments.
To celebrate and share this important milestone with everyone, on Saturday, December 14, the Alpine and Speleological Rescue Team of Piedmont (SASP) has organized a torchlight procession in Sestriere on the Vialattea slopes.
The appointment is at 7 p.m. for an exciting and suggestive show. Tourists and residents are invited to attend at the arrival parterre of the Vialattea ski slopes in Sestriere to welcome the torchlight arrival of men and women who are always ready to help in ensuring safety and first aid on our mountains.
