Audi FIS Ski World Cup: the preparation of the race track is going on

Kandahar G.A. Alberto Agnelli slope in Sestriere is almost ready to host the World Cup races.

We are working at full speed on the Kandahar G.A. slope of Sestriere. Finally, it is cold and artificial snow can be produced with good results. The snow groomers are working in order to create a suitable base to host the descents of the best athletes in the world. The women’s giant slalom and slalom will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December in Sestriere.

“We are much more optimistic than in the past few days” – declared Gualtiero Brasso, President of the Organizing Committee – “the temperatures continue to drop and the track is taking shape more and more. The weather didn’t help us in the first half of November, but now we can work very well and progress can be seen day after day”.
